GIANT HEART
GET PUMPED, PHILADELPHIA
Considering what other type of giant, walk-though body organ our friends at the Franklin Institute might have built, it’s probably best that they decided on a heart.
Located in the heart of town near one of the city’s main arteries, the Franklin Institute presents science in a fun and often humorous vein, evoking heartfelt wonder and even hearty laughter from Philadelphia bluebloods and recent out-of-town transplants alike.
According to one rumor, the museum had planned to build a giant cheesesteak next door until doctors warned it would pose too great a risk to the heart. Another rumor, that a couple once got engaged inside the heart on Valentine’s Day, may or may not be true. Don't ever consider making love there, however, because the museum would contact the police in a heartbeat and the cops would rush in to make a cardiac arrest.
